This *slightly modified* recipe from lovingitvegan.com tops them all, that’s all I have to say 😍
The photo above are of blueberry waffles I made.
–
Ingredients:
1 1/4 Cups All-purpose flour.
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3 Tablespoons Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Non-Dairy Milk
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil or vegan butter
2 Teaspoons Vanilla extract
Optional: 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch.
–
Steps:
1. Preheat your waffle iron
2. To a medium sized mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Then add your non-dairy milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla and whisk with a hand whisk to remove any lumps.
3. When the waffle maker is preheated, pour your batter in, as much as recommended for your waffle maker, and close the machine.
4. Allow to cook until crispy and golden, about 5 minutes.
5. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes/ Observations:
-These waffles are great with blueberries or chocolate chips. Add about 1/2 Cup to your batter.
-I haven’t tried this recipe using gluten-free flour yet, but please let me know if you do!
-If you double the recipe, you may need less milk. I find I need to use about 1/4 Cup less milk in order to reach the right batter consistency.

When I saw the photo, I thought the ingredients would contain some weird things. Like chickpea flour and such. But all of the ingredients seem OK. They look weird, though. How’s the taste?

They taste just like how you remember homemade waffles! (In my opinion, and the opinion of my family) these photos look odd because they are actually blueberry waffles ✨.
